What is SHF?

A prestigious society promoting the French language and culture. 

Who can join? 

Students must be in their sophomore year or be in/have taken French level 3 in to apply. Candidates must meet academic requirements as well as demonstrating responsibility, integrity and a high level of participation.

Please ask your current teacher if you are interested.

Candidates must have consistently superior grades and be in-class role models (participate, supporting others, turn in exemplary work, etc.),

What are the benefits?

Celebrate French language and culture with other francophiles.

One highlight is French Week in December where we share our passion for France, Canada (Quebec), and other French-speaking countries. 

What are the requirements?

Students retain their membership through service hours that include activities such as:

• tutoring

• club member events, for example, movie night

• school-wide events, for example, French Week
